2000 RPM/V Brushless EnErG Electric Motor

A CNC manufactured superb quality brushless electric drive motor complete with 55mm triple power leads fitted 3.5mm, multi leaf bullet type pairs of gold connectors. Ideal for the Mugi Evo using 6-12 cell NiMH, NiCad pack or 3 cell Li-Poly 1800 or 2200 batteries.

Weight bare 85g and 93g overall including the supplied aluminium collet type prop driver; 6.23mm (1/4") across threaded portion. A propellor reamed with a 1/4" sharp drill bit is a snug screw-in fit. Spinner has 2.5mm hole for T bar tightening. Front of motor tapped with four equal spaced fixing holes at 8mm radius from the motor shaft. Pair of suitable 10mm cross head fixing screws provided.

Working current 5-20A and a 25A peak. Rated at 2000rpm/V. Needs a suitable 25A rated capability electronic speed controller. Our bench test using a 2100 LiPo at 11Vand the Microspeed 130 x 125 Carbon Propeller, showed a current draw of  16.7A indicating 180W resulting in a good draught. This prop and motor is an ideal flight proven combination especially if the propellor is used together with our specially modified 3.2mm prop-saver. However the manufacturers advise that a propeller from 5"x4" up to a 7"x4" is suitable with the torque generated by this winding configuration. Pete's favourite is the APC 6 x 5.5E wide paddle blade prop.The  noise cutout vee on the Mugi Evo will just accept this larger diameter, average pitch prop allowing more relaxed performance. Details of prop seatings are identical to those shown for the Microspeed Plastic Propeller in that section. Now it will be so tempting to achieve those long, slow and low passes without worries about the prop and shaft. For blasts and unlimited vertical go for the 3000 motor windings, details below. 

Ball raced shaft ,diameter now 4mm with 14mm projection. Motor size 37mm long and 28mm diameter. Aluminium spinner included.

Interesting static test results: 2000KV draws 19.5A on our 5x5plastic prop @19500 rpm with model Evo 560g AUW

Compare to Warp 3 turn with 21A same prop but 20000rpm and 600g AUW though the slightly quicker of the two and better in the vertical climb regime.
