We always advise balancing propellers before use. This is the device we've always used with the brass cones allowing propellers of all sizes. Plastic wheels rotate easily to permit accurate balancing. Usually accomplished by sharp knife scraping away at the heavier blade side until true. Low flying is the more drastic way!

Usually upplied assembled in it's cardboard box, ideal for storage. Ours is fifteen or twenty years old now and a little battered. The original white plastic balancer frame has gone a delicate shade of cream, but it still works perfectly. The new ones are now moulded in gloss black so will undoubtedly stay looking good. A must-have for all serious fliers.

Boxed 108 x 75 x 88mm total 72g (frame & spindle 33g) so makes it a cheap tool to post, particularly abroad. Already we have sold one to a Mugiite over in Canada. Please open the box carefully by slitting the printed label just above the title words "Propeller Balancer" Then swing out the end tabs, pull forward on the front lable and the box falls apart. Reverse the procedure afterwards to repack. We have opened your purchase once to check the contents, stop the loose spindle rattling about, then taped sealed up again. We totally flat disassemble sometimes and pop all the parts into an Evo pizza box order. Easy to build up again as metal rod joints are a firm friction fit into the plastic frame.  Wheels go together like Panzer tank ones, overlapping one another. A great, but simple puzzle and self-evident to put together.
